David Guetta is the World’s No. 1 DJ again. DJ Mag revealed its Top 100 DJs 2026 results at [UNVRS] Ibiza, and Guetta took the title for a record sixth time.
Why it matters
Nobody has won this poll more. Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren have five titles each. Guetta first won in 2011, then again in 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2025.
The Top 100 is a public vote, so it tracks who fans will actually show up for. [UNVRS] says this year’s poll drew a record number of votes from 234 territories.

Guetta’s year
The win caps a big 2026. He sold more than 240,000 tickets across three sold-out Stade de France shows in Paris, ran residencies at both [UNVRS] and Ushuaïa, and played his first B2B (two DJs sharing the decks, back to back) with Carl Cox. He also made “DNA (More Than A Game),” the official 2026 FIFA World Cup anthem, with Andrea Bocelli, Megan Thee Stallion and EJAE.
He isn’t coasting, either. “The worst thing that can happen to a producer is to think you know it all,” Guetta said in DJ Mag’s winner story.
What’s next
Guetta returns for [UNVRS]’s closing weekend on Friday, Oct. 9, with MEDUZA, Kevin De Vries and Korolova also on the bill. In summer 2027 he takes his live show to London’s O2 as the venue turns 20. Fifteen years after his first crown, the road still runs through him.
The poll raises money, too. DJ Mag and Bridges for Music are asking listed artists to fund at least one young person’s education at the Bridges for Music Academy in Langa, South Africa. Last year, 42 artists gave a combined £170,832.
